Golub House

Golub House

Golub House is named in honor of William Golub, class of 1926, by Neil Golub, and his wife, Jane. Mr. Golub was a member of the Union College Board of Trustees. He was the president and CEO of Price Chopper Supermarkets/Golub Corporation.

Mr. Golub's generosity and involvement have benefited many in the Schenectady community and at Union College. Mr. Golub passed away in 1992.

This house was dedicated on February 4, 2005.

Building Information

Golub House is a freestanding house that is home to approximately 30 upperclassman students. Golub is located on Huntley Lane across from the Octopus's Garden.

Upperclass Golub House members have the option of applying to live in Golub their sophomore, junior and senior year. The house features four floors with a mix of single and double rooms, with priority for room selection based on Minerva housing application score. Golub House has nine single rooms and nine double rooms.
