Messa House

Messa House is named in honor of Frank L. Messa, class of 1973, his wife Colleen, and their daughter Keri, class of 2008.

Mr. Messa, a member of the Union's Board of Trustees since 1994, was formally the Chair of the Board (2007-2012) and currently serves as a Trustee Emeritus. A dedicated and loyal member of the Union family, he was the co-chair of the "You are Union" fundraising campaign and former national chair of the annual fund. In 2003, he received the Alumni Gold Medal in recognition of his outstanding service to Union College. Mr. Messa and his family have provided generous support and distinctive leadership to Union College.

This house was dedicated on May 29, 2010.

Building Information

Messa House is one of two conjoined Minerva Houses on North Terrace Lane, sharing a building with Wold House. Messa is home to approximately 50 upperclassman students.

Upperclass Messa House members have the option of applying to live in Messa their sophomore, junior and senior year. The house is a mix of single and double rooms, with priority for room selection based on Minerva housing application score. Messa House has 13 single rooms and 15 double rooms.
