Additional media

Brittney has been behind the scenes in theater costume shops since the age of 14. She has been privileged to work in professional and educational costume shops across the country from Alaska to Virginia and many places in between, including seven seasons at the nationally acclaimed Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, NY and four seasons as costume designer for the Saratoga Shakespeare Company. She discovered theater through a love of history and historical clothing, and that remains her primary passion and specialty. She has worked with textiles and garments in several historical clothing collections, and continues to bring her findings to life both on the stage and in person with costumed living historians. When not hard at work behind the scenes designing or building costumes, she can often be found giving workshops or interpreting fashion history for a variety of audiences.
