The Wicker Wellness Center is eager to assist you with any health concerns you may have while at Union. As per NYS law and Union College Policy, certain health requirements must be completed prior to the start of classes for all first-year or new incoming students. Returning students do not need to resubmit these requirements. To ensure a smooth start to your college career, be sure to complete the following requirements by August 3, 2018. Transfer students and new incoming students must complete the health requirements three weeks before their entry term begins. You must register on the Student Health Portal using your Union College username (your Union College email account address minus the "@union.edu"). Your email account will be set up as of May 1 (please note you will not be able to complete the Health Portal process prior to this date). If you have trouble registering, please contact our Information Technology Services Help Desk at (518) 388-6400 or email@example.com to reset your student health portal access.
Enrollment in student health insurance is automatic and will appear on your student account statement along with the Fall term bill in July. Coverage is effective August 1, 2018 through August 31, 2019. If you want to continue on your current health plan and do not wish to enroll in the student health insurance plan, you need to waive enrollment online at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. by August 11, 2018.

All international and exchange students must have health insurance through GeoBlue. International and exchange students will be automatically billed in September after arriving on campus. Payment can be made at the finance office in McKean House by cash, check, or wire transfer. If you have further questions, please contact the Office of International Advising at (518) 388-8003.
