Common Data Set (CDS)

The Common Data Set (CDS) is a set of standards and definitions developed in a cooperative effort among publishers (e.g., the College Board, Peterson's, and U.S. News & World Report) and the educational community. The goal in its creation was to improve the comparability of data reported by colleges and to ease each institution's reporting burden.
