To the best performer of classical music, either as a soloist or with an accompanist, or as an outstanding member of a group. Awarded every other year.

Victor Herbert Prize
To the student who shows the most promise of making a contribution to American music.

Julian B. Hoffman, M.D. Memorial Award
To the student, preferably premedical, for distinguished interest, devotion, and contribution to the arts or intellectual climate at Union College.

Charles Alexander Richmond Prize in Music
To a student who demonstrates excellence in music.

Hollander Convocation Music Prize
Created from the gifts of Lawrence J. Hollander, Dean of Engineering Emeritus. This prize is awarded each spring to the musician or ensemble who wins the Hollander Prize Competition. The winner(s) also perform at the fall Opening Convocation.
