A debut novel

“Nothing Good Happens in Wazirabad on Wednesday,” the debut novel by Jamaluddin Aram ’17, has been released by Scribner Canada. It is set in the early 1990s in Kabul’s working class neighborhood of Wazirabad, where everyday life roars through the winding alleys despite the ongoing civil war.

Alumna wins SUNY'S highest honor

Samantha Williams '18, who earned her medical degree in May from the Norton College of Medicine, received the 2023 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence. It is SUNY’s highest honor for academic excellence and leadership.
