Ban on Books

Our second collaboration with BSU about Ban on Books, which was a presentation and discussion that encouraged students to think about the impact of book challenges and bans on free speech.

Latinx Heritage Month

A LASO Latinx Heritage Month Kickoff activity with a poetry reading and very tasty pupusas.

Valentine's Day activities

OwLS, our student outreach team, played Cupid for Valentine's Day and delivered sweet treats, literary love quotes, and good will to students studying in the library. We wrapped books and placed them on display to entice students to try a "blind date" with a book.

National Library Week

We also celebrated National Library Week with a banned/challenged book Read In and a library love grafitti wall, and we wrapped up the school year with a Sundae Bar.
