Peter Koonz is the Electronic & Continuing Resources Librarian at Schaffer Library. Before coming to Union in 2015, he worked for over twenty-four years at Saint Rose, both as a member of the library faculty and as library director.
Koonz has interests in library technologies and, in particular, how technology impacts students' experience with library resources. He helped develop an online course in conjunction with the New York Library Association, "Teaching Skills for Librarians", which he has taught in an online environment over the past two years. He lives in Slingerlands with his wife Liz and his ageless labrador retriever Rosie.
