Student Staff

Peer Career Advisors (PCAs) are trained student staff dedicated to supporting fellow Union students in their professional development. Through one-on-one appointments and career programming, PCAs provide personalized guidance to help students confidently pursue their career goals.

PCAs can assist with resumes, cover letters, networking communication, LinkedIn profiles, internship and job searches, and navigating platforms like Handshake and GarnetGrove. Whether you’re just getting started or refining your professional materials, we’re here to help.

In addition to our Peer Career Advisors, the Career Center employs Front Desk Career Assistants and Marketing and Outreach Career Assistants. Each of these roles plays a vital part in supporting daily operations, promoting our services, and enhancing the overall student experience.

Front Desk Career Assistants

The Front Desk Team sets the tone for every individual who visits the Career Center, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and employers. From managing appointments and answering phone calls to supporting events and welcoming guests, this team serves as the face of our office.

Marketing and Outreach Career Assistants

The Marketing and Outreach Team serves as ambassadors for the Career Center at campus events and develops marketing and social media content that promotes our programs and events. They design flyers for campus, run the Student Headshot Studio, and encourage students to engage with Career Center resources.
