Professor Murilo Silva received his B.S. and M.S. in Brazil, and his Ph.D., all in economics, from the University of California, Riverside. During his doctoral studies, he received teaching and fellowship awards. His research has been published in the areas of macroeconomics, banking, and sports, and his current work focuses on the economic and financial consequences of climate change.
