  • Early Arrivals

Students whose plans may necessitate an early arrival for the fall semester must receive permission from the Office of Residential Education & Housing, which can be requested after August 1st. Early arrivals are limited to student-athletes with scheduled practice and student leaders who necessitate living on campus prior to the official opening of the College residences. Students will only be permitted to arrive one day prior to their on-campus commitment.

Due to the need for a coordinated arrival day in order to ensure proper arrival day policies and protocols are followed, early arrivals outside of the scheduled programs are not possible. Early arrival is not available to students who want to travel to campus early with the purpose of cheaper travel or to have extra time on campus prior to classes.

If your travel plans have you coming into town prior to the morning of Arrival Day, you will need to make your own plans for accommodations.

Students who arrive early without authorization or without being sponsored by a college official or office will be subject to a $250/day room and board charge and/or may be asked to leave the college until the semester opens.
